Engaged in social medicine, aging population , health policy and other fields’ teaching and research work. The main research directions are social medicine and health demography, ageing research, etc.

Studying and Working Experience

Dewen Wang Has graduated from clinical Medical School of Fujian Medical University ,medicine of Juntendo University school in Japan, and Japan's national academy of sciences. Dewen Wang has a MPH from Japan's national academy of sciences(1995), a Dr.PH from Japan's national academy of sciences(1997), and a doctor degree from medicine of juntendo university school(2009). 

Worked in Xiehe Hospital affiliated to Fujian Medical University as a resident,before going abroad to study. After returning in 2000, Dewen Wang has worked in Public Health School of Fujian Medical University , Institute of Population Studies in Xiamen University,school of Public Affairs Xiamen University . She is the dean , the professor and the PhD supervisor in The School of Public Affairs Xiamen University . At the same time she is the researcher at Juntendo University Department of medicine .
